
The record high temperatures of Thursday and Friday a distant memory, winter is forecast to return with a bit of a bang this Presidents Day. A storm system will track eastward from the Tennessee Valley off the Mid-Atlantic or New Jersey coast, and redevelop offshore. The system will remain somewhat weak, but will still bring the chance for a few inches of snow to most of the area. Snow is forecast to develop very early Monday morning from west to east, and continue through Monday afternoon before ending from west to east as well. Total snowfall accumulations are expected to range from 2 to 5 inches across most of Central and Northern New Jersey, New York City, Long Island, Southeast New York, and Connecticut. Lower accumulations are forecast farther south in Central and Southern New Jersey. Another storm system will pass well to our south Tuesday, bringing the potential for some light snow across Southern and Central New Jersey. As a result,
