New York Metro Weather has issued a Snow Bulletin for Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, and Burlington counties in New Jersey. This Snow Bulletin is valid from 2:00am Monday morning through 5:00pm Monday  afternoon. A snow bulletin is issued when forecasters expect a light snow accumulation to occur over a period of time, which may cause travel difficulties or delays. Currently, forecasters are expecting snow accumulations to range between 1 and 3 inches, with higher amounts possible if any moderate bands develop. Some sleet may mix in at the tail end of the precipitation. The official text for the Snow Bulletin is below.

*Hazards...Light snowfall Monday which may impact travel during Presidents Day. 

*Accumulations...Total storm accumulations (snow and sleet) should range from 1 to 3 inches across most of the area by the time precipitation ends Monday afternoon.

*Impact...Travel may be difficult during the snowfall. Please be careful if traveling Monday morning or afternoon.

*Timing...The snow is expected to develop early Monday morning and continue through early to mid Monday afternoon. 

*Confidence...Confidence in the bulletin is moderate to high at this time.

*Information...
A Snow Bulletin means that light amounts of snow are expected to fall across the area. This snow may cause some light to moderate travel difficulties or delays. Please prepare for slippery and snowy roads and keep alert for updates on the situation.
