If you haven't already heard, the weather is going to be absolutely fantastic this upcoming weekend. A high pressure system has built into the forecast area, and a ridge aloft is allowing for this feature to become dominant. The nights will still be plenty cool to cold (see tonight for reference, it's really chilly out there), but the daytime high's are going to climb towards the low to mid 60's on Saturday, and the low 60's on Sunday. Saturday will certainly be the nicest day in at least the past week or two, and while Sunday could feature more cloud cover, it will still be a beautiful day for outdoor activities. So plan now, it's going to be a great weekend for anything outside. Featured image: Infrared Satellite image from early Saturday morning showing the fair weather in control over the region.

Saturday (Today): Mostly sunny, and warmer, with highs in the low to mid 60's. Light north winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear and cool, with temperatures dropping into the upper 30's to low 40's. Light north winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and warm, with highs in the low 60's. Winds turning east at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
