Much of this afternoon will be spent watching temperatures climb into the mid 60's to near or above 70 in some areas. An upper level ridge will continue to build into the area and mid level temperatures will reach their warmest levels of the year to date.

The real feature to watch, though, is the storm system still meandering well to our northeast. It's presence will create a southeast flow off the water by this afternoon--which means seabreeze development is possible across coastal zones. Forecast models show a sharp temperature gradient by 21z this afternoon with 50 F temperatures on the coast--and 72 F temperatures in New Jersey.

Regardless, we hope you enjoy the nice weather in the wake of several rainy and dreary days. The forecast through Sunday looks warmer with plenty of sun.
