Re-issuance for counties in header...New York Metro Weather has issued a Snow Bulletin for Mercer, Middlesex, Union, Essex, Hudson, Southern Passaic, Southern Bergen counties in New Jersey...Richmond, Kings, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Southern Westchester counties in New York...and Coastal New Haven, Coastal Fairfield counties in Connecticut. This Snow Bulletin is valid from 4:00am Wednesday morning through 4:00am Thursday morning. A snow bulletin is issued when forecasters expect a light snow accumulation to occur over a period of time, which may cause travel difficulties or delays. Currently, forecasters are expecting snow accumulations to range between 1 and 2 inches, with higher amounts possible if any moderate bands develop. The official text for the Snow Bulletin is below.

*Hazards...Light snowfall which may cause slick roads

*Accumulations...Total storm accumulations are expected to range from a trace to 2 inches by the time snow is over.

*Impact...Travel may be slippery and difficult during the snowfall continuing through Thursday morning.

*Timing...Snow is beginning to fall across most of the area, and should continue (potentially moderate to heavy at times) through Wednesday evening into early Thursday morning.

*Confidence...Confidence in the bulletin is moderate.

*Information...
A Snow Bulletin means that light amounts of snow are expected to fall across the area. This snow may cause some light to moderate travel difficulties or delays. Please prepare for slippery and snowy roads and keep alert for updates on the situation.
