*Discussion...
A mid and upper level storm system will move near and over the region Saturday and bring with it a strong mid level feature, which will aid in the development of a coastal system off shore. Model guidance has trended snowier and brings light snow to the region Saturday evening through Sunday. Some models are snowier, still, but at this time it appears a light snowfall is most likely for the region. The forecast remains uncertain, and there is the potential for things to change (in a snowier, or drier direction) over the next 12 hours.
Stay tuned to updates on this Snow Bulletin page, as well as updates from our blog and text forecasts. As always, refer to your local National Weather Service for official forecasts and safety information.
A Snow Bulletin means that light amounts of snow are expected to fall across the area. This snow may cause some light to moderate travel difficulties or delays. Please prepare for slippery and snowy roads and keep alert for updates on the situation.
