A total lunar eclipse will occur tonight beginning around 1:00am, and will continue through 4:00am with the full eclipse time around 3:15. As NASA puts it, "The first total lunar eclipse in two years will grace the sky the night of Monday, Dec. 20, and we want you to be there. Sure, it's a school night, but with winter solstice and a new year upon us, what better time to gather your family and friends to see the moon in a new light?". We agree. Be sure to bundle up as the weather will be quite cold, with temperatures dropping into the low to mid 20's. The lunar eclipse hasn't made us forget about the forecast, though! We're still working on an overnight update. The highlights include cold weather, followed by the potential for a winter storm around Christmas. Tonight (Monday Night): Clear and cold with a low near 25. Winds blustery out of the north around 20-25 miles per hour. We could see some gusts into the 30's.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 36. Blustery north winds continue, around 15 to 25 miles per hour.
