The next several days will likely continue the trend of the past few, and December as a whole. A large high pressure system has built into the region and cold and dry weather will prevail over the next few days at least through the end of the week. A weak surface low pressure attempting to move east through the Northern Ohio Valley couldn't withstand the strength of the high pressure, and it won't offer a chance at much precipitation in the region. Some high clouds will affect the area early Wednesday. Temperatures should average in the mid to upper 30's for highs through the remainder of the week, with mid to upper 20's for lows as well. Christmas Eve and Day are currently looking dry and cold as well, but the main concern becomes the potential impact of a storm system forecast to form off the coast afterwards. Uncertainty exists, but the potential for snow is definitely there Sunday Night into Monday. Stay tuned for updates throughout the week, and make sure to check our official forecast and forecast discussion for more information.
