...Significant storm system to bring continued light and blowing snow to the area this evening...

A large storm system will continue to loop southeast and then east out to sea by Saturday Morning. This very powerful system has dumped prolific amounts of snow on most of the forecast area and will continue to provide a wintry scene with snow squalls, heavy at times, through the evening hours. These squalls will cause reduced visibility as well as some quick snow accumulations. Additional accumulations are expected to range from 1 to 2 inches but will be highly scattered and variable across the area.

Regardless, we urge caution traveling tonight and Saturday morning...especially with icy roads and re-freezing overnight as well.

A Snow Bulletin means that light amounts of snow are expected to fall across the area. This snow may cause some light to moderate travel difficulties or delays. Please prepare for slippery and snowy roads and keep alert for updates on the situation.
