The New York MetroWeather blog team has finished reviewing the February 4th through 6th, 2010 snowstorm. The storm has received a preliminary categorization of "High" on the snowstorm impact scale in our area. This categorization was based on local snowfall reports, school and business closures, travel impacts and accidents, and damage reports. This categorization will be reviewed once again at the end of the 2009-2010 winter season. The snowfall map has been included below. You may also view the Area Winter Storm Archive (link at the top of the blog) for more information on the categories and archives. Any questions, comments, or objections to the maps and totals can be emailed to blizzardwx@gmail.com
