...Flood Message in effect through 2pm Monday...

A storm system moving northwest of the region will bring warmer air and

a moist atmosphere. An approaching frontal boundary will become the focus for
heavy rain across the area. Well over one inch, to near two inches, of rain is
forecast to fall across the area. The heaviest rain is forecast to begin late Sunday
Night and continue into Monday morning before ending from west to east.
Thunderstorms or convection could become the focus for some locally
heavier rainfall totals. This rain could cause rapid flooding of low lying areas
or streams that typically flood quickly..as well as urban areas.

...A flood message means periods of heavy rain will cause some
poor drainage, low lying street, or small stream flooding over a short
period of time. Please keep abreast of the situation and stay tuned
for further updates...
