Short Term...
Area of Light snow/Flurries continues to move through the New York Metro area..light snow being reported through NJ into the Bronx. Radar returns, however are misleading as most of the precipitation is not reaching the ground. Will continue possibility of flurries or light snow through the day as the shortwave swings out of the area tonight. Another shortwave swings through monday with another slight chance of light snow. Things begin to clear out Tuesday and Wednesday with clear and crisp conditions.
Long Term...
Another system to affect the area late this week..model consensus is once again all over the place. Seems like we could be dealing with a nice CAD event at the start of the storm...as the storm center gets closer look for a change over to IP/ZR and eventually all RN. Heavy Rain at that. Cold air races in behind the system and a quick burst of snow is possible after the system. Complicated and cold pattern seems to continue through the end of December.
