
Cold air will not be in place prior to the storm, so seeing snow is highly unlikely throughout most of the area, but there is the potential for some snow to begin the storm system across the far interior and northern locations...specifically the NW Hills of New Jersey, Southeast New York, and Litchfield Connecticut. For the rest of the area, a period of moderate to heavy cold rain on Thursday morning. We will certainly keep you updated on both of these systems during the week -- and we'll get a better idea on the exact effects of the stronger mid-week system as we move forward. Stick with us!

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a chance of light snow or flurries (flurries or drizzle near the coast). Low near 35, with a southwest wind around 5 miles per hour. No accumulations expected, but even a flake of snow is exciting considering the trends so far this winter.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high around 45. West wind between 8 and 14 miles per hour. A bit breezy, still chilly, no precipitation to speak of. Not a bad day.
