As a new feature to the blog, this page will serve as a running
archivefor each winter storm that impacts the area during the winter of
2011-2012. The archive will be updated as the winter progresses, in a
non-official manner. Typically, total snowfall accumulation maps are
contoured by the staff 3-5 days after a snowstorm, and are made
available to the public around a week after the storm. These maps are
not official, but are contoured precisely to attempt and detail the
intricacies of each snowfall. You will also find a link, in the
archive, to our official forecast for that event. This will give you an
idea of how our forecasters performed throughout the winter. If you
have any questions regarding this page, you may contact us by emailing
us (click here), or giving us a
shout on Facebook
or Twitter. We hope to hear from
your soon.
